Position Expectations…
The Associate Wealth Advisor position is an essential member of the Diamond Team within our firm. This position is an integral part of ensuring every aspect of the client experience exceeds expectations. At Level 1, this individual will have a strong desire to develop the essential communication, technical, and social skills to support the client relationships owned by the Diamond Team. Under the supervision of the Lead and/or Senior Wealth Advisors, the vast majority of time is spent in client meetings documenting and observing and then delegating tasks to the Client Service Specialist for execution. At Level 2, under the supervision of the Lead and/or Senior Wealth Advisors, this individual will have obtained mastery of all financial software programs and begin to prepare and make recommendations for client financial plans and investments and portfolio allocations. At Level 3, this individual will be working directly with clients and with smaller client accounts on their own or begin pursuing the planner.
Essential Job Functions – Level 1: Relationship Manager* (not licensed)
- *Job title is unofficial for use day to day throughout company and diamond teams. Official job title with Carson Wealth will be Client Service Specialist until licensing is obtained.
- Primary Point of Contact as Relationship Manager of clients for the Diamond Team
- Develop effective communication skills with clients, centers of influence, industry contacts and team members
- Learn and develop mastery in financial software programs: Salesforce FSC, Orion, eMoney, Holistaplan, Social Security Analyzer, Digital Allocation Tool, etc.
- Manage Client Review process:
- Coordinate with DOFI to schedule Client Review meetings
- Gather data, reports and prep agenda and discussion items
- Refresh advisor team on previous meeting notes
- Attend and support A+ and A client meetings, as directed
- Enter post-meeting notes into Client Review object in Salesforce FSC
- Delegate operational tasks to Centralized Client Service team
- Manage Way2Wealth® (W2W) process:
- Coordinate with DOFI to schedule and prep for W2W meetings Complete follow-up items from meetings
- Attend meetings, as directed by Diamond Team
- Maintain documentation/progress of leads, opportunities and referral campaigns in Salesforce and report during weekly advisor team meeting
- Delegate operational tasks for client onboarding
- Implementation
- Coordinate with DOFI to schedule one-off meetings with clients and outside professionals, if needed
- Support all advisors on assigned Diamond Team
- Delegate all operational tasks to the Client Service Specialist
- Owner of Diamond Team’s client records
- Ensures all data is provided to Client Service Specialist for entry
- Ensures all non-processing related documents are provided to Client Service Specialist for retention
- Confirms and verifies trade and distribution requests
- Accountable for Required Minimum Distributions for assigned Diamond Team clients
- Provides support to Diamond Team with client communications
- Make outgoing calls with Marketing Coordinator for client events, prospect events and educational seminars, as needed
- Conduct touch base calls for all A+ and A clients, as directed
- Work with Diamond Team on random acts of kindness for clients
- Participate in our internal meeting rhythms and develop quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Adhere to Compliance policies and procedures
- Coordinate with DOFI to schedule Client Review meetings
- Gather data, reports and prep agenda and discussion items

- Ensures all data is provided to Client Service Specialist for entry
- Ensures all non-processing related documents are provided to Client Service Specialist for retention
· Other duties and special projects, as assigned
Essential Job Functions – Level 2: Associate Wealth Advisor
- All job functions of Level 1
- Enter and analyze data within our Financial software program
- Create custom reports within our Financial software programs
- Prepare and make recommendations on Financial Plans and portfolio allocations
- Has obtained Series 65
Essential Job Functions – Level 3: Associate Wealth Advisor
- All job functions of Levels 1 and 2
- Identifies a Lead or Planner path per the below
- Option 1: Lead Advisor Path: assigned small client relationships to manage with assistance and mentoring from Lead Advisors
- Option 2: Planner Path: works directly with advisors preparing and presenting plans (CFP Designation preferred)
- Manage Retirement by Design Process
- Learn and develop sales techniques
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent investment advisory experience
· Active Series 65 license or ability to obtain within career track
· Clean U-4 and U-5 history
- Computer literacy and aptitude for learning new programs and processes:
- Knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), required
- Knowledge of Financial Industry programs (Salesforce, Orion, eMoney, etc.), preferred
· Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
· Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
· A genuine interest in serving and caring for other people
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with precision
